Balance Exercise Physiology encourages positive health and wellbeing through exercise, education and empowerment.  We work with our clients to provide personalised solutions to help achieve better health outcomes and promote healthy lifestyles and ageing.

Self-management and self-determination techniques are at the heart of all Balance Exercise Physiology services, meaning, clients can take control of their own health making balancing their health a life-long change.

With over 14 years experience in the health and wellness industry, James has worked with a diversity of clients from 7 – 97 years!  He specialises in health-behaviour modification programs for people with chronic health conditions; healthy lifestyle programs; falls prevention strategies; sport specific conditioning; and health and wellbeing seminars.

Through his experience as a school teacher and coach in Australian and overseas, James has developed a special interest in health coaching for kids.  James uses exercise and motivational techniques to assist children manage a variety of health conditions and develop key personal attributes such as confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and improved performance.

James works in both a clinical and community environment and welcomes a holistic approach to care by working with GP’s and other Allied Health professionals.

He is a guest lecturer and tutor at the University of Newcastle; facilitator of the Government initiative ‘Stepping On’; and performance coach for the Central Coast Academy of Sport.
